Shane has developed a reputation for one of the best clinics available.  Shane's clinics are more than just about Western Pleasure.  Shane brings a straight-forward no nonsence approach that works for people of all ages and skill levels.  Shane's goal is to show people how to understand and work with their horses.

Each Clinic is limited to the number of riders that may participate. No more than fifteen riders will be involved in each clinic. This allows Shane the ability to help each individual and also gives Shane the ability to see and to be able to work with each person on an individual level and gives other riders the benefit of learning from the feedback he gives to others. Spectators will be allowed at a cost of $20.00 per day and are not allowed to bring a horse to the clinic. After the clinic is filled a waiting list will be created in case of cancellations, and those on the waiting list will be called in the case of cancellations first.

Each Clinic will be taught by Shane Dowdy himself, Shane does not use “certified instructors” instead he feels it is important that each person have the opportunity to learn the skills that have brought him success in the Pleasure Horse industry. Therefore each participant must have a horse that is broke to ride with an interest in the pleasure discipline, please note this clinic is designed for intermediate to advanced riders.

The cost of the clinic is $650.00 per person for a two day clinic (please note this does not include stall fees or bedding). Spectator tickets are $20.00 per day and maybe limited depending on seating. There is a 50% deposit due when booking a clinic and the remainder must be paid at least 30 days in advance. Please note all clinic deposits are non-transferable and non refundable.
